Holy Trinity is a lively church
at the heart of the Twickenham
Green and Strawberry Hill area
of south-west London.
We are a Church of England
parish church, with a vision
centred on ‘Loving God,
loving people’.
The search for a new vicar is over
We are delighted to announce that as a result of a thorough application and interview process, the Bishop of Kensington, Bishop Paul along with the Parish Representatives, Liz and Clare have appointed a new vicar for Holy Trinity Church.
Tim Garrett, currently Associate Vicar at Burford Church, Oxfordshire, emerged clearly as the right person for this role, with many of the gifts and experience relevant to leading Holy Trinity into a new season of ministry. His work in children’s and youth ministry, together with practical knowledge of growing a church deeper in faith closely matched our profile for the new vicar.
Before his role at Burford, Tim spent four years as a curate at St Andrews, North Oxford and prior to his ordination he spent seven years in various management posts in the NHS in the South West.
Tim is married to Natalie (known as ‘Nat’) and they have one daughter, ten month old Jemima. Nat, who is currently on maternity leave after having had Jemima, is also ordained, and has combined this with a career in acting and writing.
It is hoped that Tim will be able to start at Holy Trinity in the spring. Plans for his induction service, when the congregation will be able to meet Tim and his family for the first time, will be underway shortly. We hope to be able to announce a date for your diaries for this special service in the next few weeks.

Who we are
A welcoming community. Some come to Holy Trinity looking to find faith for the first time, or rekindle a childhood faith. Others come looking for a sense of community, or a set of values to live by.
Whatever the reasons, lots of local people are wanting to reconnect with church and we’ve been growing a lot over recent years. We have lots of time for chat and refreshments after every 10.30am service.
A family-friendly community. Every week we run a staffed crèche at our 10.30am service. We have a range of children’s groups, and hold regular All-Age Worship services with the emphasis on the kids. We have close links with the nearby Archdeacon Cambridge’s Primary School.
A place to meet God. Faith in Jesus Christ is at the heart of all we do at Holy Trinity. We believe church should be a place you can not only find answers – but wrestle with questions too, the biggest questions of all: about faith, values and lifestyle. There is a special opportunity for prayer at the end of every 10.30 service.
A Fairtrade Church

We are recognised as a Fairtrade Church by the Fairtrade Foundation, because we use and promote the use of fairly-traded goods. On the first Sunday of each month we run a Fairtrade stall after the main service.
